Avli RestaurantAvli is everything you'd expect from a Danforth Greek restaurant; aging decor, a cozy dining room, patrons at the next table who talk too loudly, and some truly fantastic homemade dips. The Kopanisti must have a little something extra, because it's impossible to leave even a remnant on the plate. The Avli-licious menu, despite its cringe-worthy name, offers good bang for your buck with $15 lunch and $25 dinner prix-fixe menus.

this is my favourite restaurant. Period. The atmosphere never disappoints and the food is fantastic every single time. As someone who does 90% of the cooking at home, each time I go to the Avli, I feel as though they truly are happy to see me. The melitzano (even typing it makes my mouth water) served with the warm pita? Delicious; the mussels are incredible and the greek dessert (name escapes me right now but it's not baklava) lingers on your tongue long after you leave the restaurant. I LOVE the Avli!
