Fish 'n chips, burgers and a pulled pork sandwich are some of the items you can wash down with one of the many fine Irish beers on tap.

I want to love this place. I enjoy the staff and the atmosphere. But the food is consistently 'just okay' to 'Yeah... I'm not even going to bother eating this'

Does this pub ever have any live music? I'm a singer from Scotland and want to come out to Toronto to do some gigs but I've got no idea where to go. Obviously I'd prefer a Scottish type pub as a large part of what I do is Scottish and my 'banter' is Scottish. Hope someone can help.

Why is the compressed comment taking a shot at the Danforth with the 'you don't have to cross the Don Divide' when only one pub (and having lived in the area all my life, have never heard of) being rated is anywhere near here? Ever heard of Allen's or The Black Swan? This is just anti-Riverdale snobbery foisted on us because it's more expensive to shit on Forest Hill. Grow up.

haven't been to the Danforth location but the food and drinks at the College Street location haven't disappointed either time I've been there.

Always previously enjoyed this bar but had a terrible experience here tonight that has forever changed my opinion. I ordered a burger that I found a strand of hair in. They stated it wasn't possible there was hair in it and exclaimed "but you are half your burger", not so subtly insinuating I must be lying. They curtly asked me what would make me happy and then charged me for the burger anyway.
I wasn't particularly upset or angry until the end encounter. I thought I was reasonable to expect I shouldn't have to pay for that meal The worst example of service recovery I have ever experienced in my life. I will never return again.
