Milky Way over the Gardiner

This photo looks like a composite of two pictures.

Look at the milky way at the background and it is also the same as this milky way the same photographer has taken at Tobermory (which is a very nice picture itself, posted on flickr). I am not sure if I should post the link as it is the intellectual property of the author.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Links aren't intellectual property, so post it. (If the photographer didn't want their photos to be linked, they wouldn't put them on flickr.)

This photo is 100% photoshopped. The EXIF data on Flickr proves it. Aside from the obvious technical parameters used to take this shot (which would most definitely NOT produce a photo like this), the MOST apparent give away to both photography geniuses and non photographers would be this: The EXIF data states the photo was taken on June 12, 2012 at 8:50PM - it's still light out at 8:50 these days.
Photoshop skills are all right, but this photo was not produced by a photographer.

When I see a blog post titled "Photo of the Day" I don't really expect to see digital art, I expect to see photography. No need for name calling.

You've made some decent points there. I looked on the web for more information about the issue and found most people will go along with your views on this site.
