Santa Claus Parade road closures in Toronto and other key transportation shut-downs affecting the city, including TTC closures.
KEY ROAD CLOSURES IN TORONTO
Bloor: Christie--Avenue, Avenue/Queens Park/University: Bloor--Wellington, Wellington: University--Jarvis. The parade route will be closed from 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Sunday, November 16 to allow for set-up and take-down.
TTC: "Subway service will be increased on Sunday to accommodate those attending the parade. Several subway stations are conveniently located along or near the parade route, including Christie, Bathurst, Spadina and St George stations on Line 2, and Museum, Queen's Park, St Patrick, Osgoode and St Andrew stations on Line 1."
"The 511 Bathurst, 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen and 504 King streetcar routes will be maintained over regular routing through breaks in the parade."
York: Harbour--Lake Shore. Closed on Saturday, November 15 from 1 a.m. to 11 p.m. for hoisting work involving a mobile crane.
TTC CLOSURES
Line 2: Warden--Kennedy. Due to track replacement work on Saturday, November 14, trains will be turning back eastbound at Warden. Shuttle buses will allow passengers to reach Kennedy.
511 and 310 Bathurst. Streetcars and buses are diverting via Adelaide or Richmond, Spadina, and College until Nov. 20 due to track replacement work in the vicinity of Bathurst and Dundas.
