What's open and closed Thanksgiving weekend in Toronto 2012:

CLOSED

Most stores will be observing regularly scheduled hours on Saturday and Sunday, although some restaurants will be closed throughout the weekend--it's best to call ahead. As well, some 24-hour grocery stores, such as Sobey's, will be closing at 12am on Monday.

OPEN

Most stores, including grocery stores, LCBO, Beer Stores and Wine Rack locations

What's open and closed Thanksgiving Monday 2012 in Toronto:

CLOSED

  • Government offices, banks, and libraries
  • No mail delivery
  • All LCBO stores, Beer Stores, and Wine Rack locations
  • Most stores and grocery stores

OPEN

  • Major attractions like the CN Tower, Toronto Zoo, ROM, and the Science Centre
  • Amsterdam Brewery retail store (21 Bathurst St.)
  • SteamWhistle Brewery Beer store (255 Bremner Blvd.)
  • The Eaton Centre (10am-6pm), Pacific Mall (11am-8pm), Vaughan Mills (10am-7pm) and Square One (11am-6pm) shopping malls
  • Rabba's (various locations) and Food Depot (155 Dupont St., at Davenport)

TRANSIT

The TTC will be running on holiday service (Sunday service with a start of 6 am)

You should really proof read before you post. The same things listed under "Open" are listed under "Closed" just below.

Actually its not that confusing if you pay attention to the italics heading which break up the top half of post to 'thanksgiving weekend' and bottom half to 'thanksgiving Monday'. However, making the headings more prominent and changing to Sat/Sun and the Mon would likely help alleviate any confusion.
