What's open and closed Labour Day Monday in Toronto 2012:

CLOSED

  • Government offices, banks, and libraries
  • No mail delivery
  • All LCBO stores, Beer Stores, and Wine Rack locations
  • Most stores and grocery stores

OPEN

  • Major attractions like the CN Tower, Toronto Zoo, ROM, Science Centre, and Canada's Wonderland
  • Amsterdam Brewery retail store (21 Bathurst St.)
  • SteamWhistle Brewery Beer store (255 Bremner Blvd.)
  • The Eaton Centre (10am-6pm), Pacific Mall (11am-8pm), Vaughan Mills (10am-7pm) and Square One (11am-6pm) shopping malls
  • Rabba's (various locations) and Food Depot (155 Dupont St., at Davenport)
  • Select Sobey's will be open from 9am-11pm, such as Queen's Quay, and Bathurst and Bloor

TRANSIT

The TTC will be running on holiday service (Sunday service with a start of 6 am)

Amsterdam beer absolutly sucks! Does anyone know if the mill st. Brewery is open? Their phone line is no help.

Ella, I have a proposal.

Wall Mart sells shoes. What if we pool our efforts focussing on open Wall Marts, then both of our problems will be solved. I'm going to go check the one at Dufferin Mall soon, and I'll report back.

Dufferin Mall Walmart is closed today. Eaton Centre mall and Yonge St. is your best bet for shoes today.
