Echo Beach to host free concert series

Echo Beach, Toronto's newest outdoor concert venue, will host a number of free shows over the rest of the summer. Although I'm not much of a fan of all the bands scheduled to play, the Sloan concert on August 5th sounds more than a little intriguing.

Here's the current line-up:

Andy Kim & Friends, July 15th
Platinum Blonde, July 23rd
Third Eye Blind, July 28th
Sloan, August 5th

There's also the possibility of more shows on the horizon, but Live Nation has yet to release any details at this time. Fingers crossed! Free concerts and sandy venues are the stuff of summer.
