Wrongbar feuds with neighbors over capacity expansion

Wrongbar, the concert hall/bar/club/art space in Parkdale wants to boost its capacity from 208 to 300. The problem? Its neighbors.

Owner Nav Sangha said the bar needs to grow to be able to host events like a Pride Parade after party. But some neighborhood residents, like Julian Humphreys who spoke to the Globe and Mail, are sick of electronic beats and "people screaming down the street in the middle of the night." They want to stall expansion plans, fearing proliferation of said midnight screaming.

The issue was brought to a hearing at the Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission on Tuesday, but with so many speakers on both sides, hearings were adjourned until June 16.

So, "Do What You Wanna Do," Wrong Bar? Well, we'll see.
