John Tory steals the spotlight
John Tory is not actually in the race, but somehow he was the one who got all the attention in today's mayoral campaign talk.
Rumours circulated that the former leader of the Ontario Conservatives was being seduced to enter the race. Tory supporters bit, and offered their allegiance to his non-campaign.
Tory's only remark to the speculation was in an email obtained by the Toronto Sun. "I have declined to comment on rumours I didn't start," he wrote.

This guys ego is bigger than the CN tower.
He'll enter the race, then I give him a month before he says something stupid that alienates all his supporters.

Tory's not on the air this week; I wonder why.
Given his track record at the CFL, Ontario Conservatives,
Rogers and whatever else he's tried to do, it'd be a
miracle that he could ever get elected.
The Red Sea parting again would be more likely.
For someone who's supposedly smart, he doesn't know when to
stop talking. He just goes on and talks more than he says
anything of substance.
I'm starting a campaign to recruit him for Mayor of Kelowna.
