Artists to showcase at G20 media pavilion

This year's G20 summit isn't just about shrubbery massacres and mammoth erections.

In fact, there's actually some culture to be had by journalists visiting the "Experience Canada" pavilion during the summit. Freelance journalist Leah Sandals posted a list of artists who will be showcasing during the exhibit.

While the roll boasts a mix of different types of artists (painters, sculptors, inflatable artist, beaders, carvers), most of the men and women are from Muskoka.

Showcasing artists include Tom Bendtsen, whose book sculpture is currently showing at the Toronto Reference Library, Toronto artist Max Streicher, who is known for his inflatable sculptures, and Muskokan still-life and landscape painter Lloyd Walton. Artists Nathalie Bertin, Brenda Wainman, Ryan Coyne, Vicki Sharp, Col Mitchell, Krysia Bower, and John Delang will also have their work displayed.

For a brief bio of each artist, check out Leah Sandals' blog.
