Virgin Airlines to launch California-to-Toronto service

Posted by Derek Flack / April 20, 2010

Earlier today Virgin America announced on Twitter that it has selected Toronto as its first international destination. Starting June 23, the airline will offer flights from Los Angeles International Airport and San Francisco International Airport to Pearson.

The exciting part: one-way fares to Pearson will start at $212, substantially cheaper than Air Canada's current rates.

As a San Francisco-area resident who travels to TO every year, I'm thrilled about this!
