I think this asian supermarket located in the area takes long way to success if they don't go into mainstream. good luck!

We went to this location on Saturday for the first time and were BLOWN. AWAY. :)

Lovvvvvvvved this supermarket and will definitely continue to go. The cleanest grocery store I have ever been in, amazing selection of both Asian and Western foods, extremely Western friendly, beautifully presented and for the most part, very reasonably priced. I've been recommending it to all my friends!

Dear Cindy and Tina: We are proud of our Taiwanese compatriots doing so well in Canada. Would you consider for your next Toronto location at the corner of Sheppard and Leslie? There is high concentration of professional residents in Bayview Garden area, especially those of Chinese decent.

You need to and have to do the thing what you have said. the price of the item that the casher charged is different from the advertising you show on the newspaper. why? that is big misleading!!!

Hi Hua,

There isn't a shuttle bus from U of T, but from St. George subway, you could take the subway East to Pape, then take the number 72A or 72B bus (not the plain 72) which will take you to Cherry Street.

The Vancouver T&T Supermarket store (owned by Loblow Companies Limited) has a lot of serious sanitation problems. If you saw what I saw, you'd be horrified.

I live in the building that T&T is located in, and as a result have seen first-hand the horrible food-handling practices they employ in the back (which I have access to from within my building). I've seen slabs of raw meat sitting out in the open for hours; garbage bags full of rotting meat being dragged down hallways where food is transported, leaving a putrid slimy trail that rarely gets cleaned up; food and groceries stored in areas that are infested with rats and pigeons; food-prep areas that are filthy and reeking from months of dried blood and guts, etc.

I could go on and on, and have photos to prove all of this. You can see some of them on this website created by a group of people who live in the same building and are disgusted with the constant filth and stench caused by Loblaw's T&T Supermarket: http://www.tandtsmells.com

How this store manages to not get shut down is surprising. I highly recommend you avoid this store for the sake of your health.

I stopped by T&T at metrotown on Jan 29th 2011 to see if they have sale on the chicken wings.I was there about 3 minutes.Before I went there I bought something from Superstore.So I did have a bag of grocery.I was on my way home,I went upstairs where Zeller's entrance is and near by Big Boss Restaurant.I was stopped by t&t's security staff.He asked me to let him look into the bag and receipt.I was so shocked.I understand he has the right do it so within T&T area but he reach to far.He doesn't have the right to check anyone at the shopping mall area.Who does he think he is??Is that mean the security officers have the right to see any shopper's bag??I don't feel comfortable if they do.Or we must have to buy something at T&T?if you don't their security will come to you.I've got an e-mail from their customer service said (Case revealed that a staff member of T&T saw a customer leaving the store with a bag of products without passing the cashier checkout counter; in house security then was called to follow the inquiry).Sound like if you don't buy,that is what you get.How can we pass the cashier counter if we don't buy.If we don't buy,we don't need to pay,why should we have to pass the cashier counter.That doesn't make sense at all.

Recently Weldrick opens a new store. A great one except for quality in question for durians, papaya and pineapples which I bought recently. Durians are not ripe, pineapple rot at bottom, papaya also not fit to consume.All sold at great low prices, but T & T need to supervise the quality of goods even if it is cheap. The rest of departments, thumbs up!June 2011

Will T&T consider open a store in Kitchen/Waterloo area as there are so many Asians,students & professionals in that areas,& not to mention the mainstream population would appreciate the different tastes & selections as well?

you know it is illegal to charge 5 cents for plastic bags, I know you will say you are not part of Toronto but then why did you charge for plastic in the first place when you it is only a Toronto bylaw...anything for the name of profit....

I was in Mar 4, 2013 and Mar 11, 2013.

The first time they overcharged me for two items. I went back and they denied a credit. The young guy had a smirk on his face when he said it.

I bought my stuff anyway, and guess what? The overcharged me a second time!

The prices aren't that good, and the floor was sticky!
