I also love this market. I wouldn't say they are not friendly. I find them nice and polite.

The service is lousy. They won't cut up a large filet for a small portion. In the past, the fish has been good, but today I bought a piece of cod which was awful. I brought it home, opened it up, smelled it, and immediately threw it out. Not going back.

The service there is worst you can ever imagine.
They make bad jokes about their customers and are very rude. The quality of the products they offer is bad and prices are skyrocket high. I will never buy there.

Don't even know why this is place is on the list... Previous comments are well supported - VERY RUDE service, prices aren't that good & selection is sub-par. Don't waste your time with this place - if you can, drive out to Etobicoke & visit All Seas on Vasco Rd by Kipling, much better.

Avoid at all costs...

The fish is definitely a bit overpriced. They are also a bit inflexible, and the old guy is a bit cranky but quite knowledgable. The lady there, I believe she owns the place, is quite sexy!

Snappers know their fish! Having worked in inspection indusry, their fish is top notch and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Wouldn't dare buy fish from a sobeys or loblaws, might look fresh but you'd be surprised how long it took to get to the store.

I went there once, and also was not impressed with the service. Seem downright unfriendly.
