Mike's Fish
Mike's Fish in the St. Lawrence Market is the socially-responsible choice for fresh fish. They proudly claim not to sell endangered Chilean seabass.

Cooking has become a bit of a hobby for me, and any recipe that calls for seafood, calls for a trip to Mike's. It's conveniently located around the corner from home, but I have only had fresh seafood from Mike's. It's well worth the trip to the Market even if it's not around the corner.

Does anyone know if Mike carries smoked trout. Would like to know if he has Milford Bay Smoked Trout. Thanks!

Hello I am interested to see if you can bring in large Pacu fish. I am specifically interested in the ribs of the fish for a barbecue recipe I just experienced in Miami. Can you let me know if you can supply me with the fish and the cost or direct me to someone who can. Thank you Jack

Hi all. Is this shop still run by Mike? The original posting is from 2008 and I was wondering whether someone has been their recently and is the quality still great? Looking to buy about 15 lbs of Alaskan King Crab legs and claws. Any other suggestions of where is a good fish monger in Toronto?

Have been trying to find fresh newfound herring in mississauga for years. It seams like most of the catch is used for chum when fishing for tuns in main??? Apparently most people do not accept the beneficial nutrients and flavours of this species due to its boney interior, however where where I was borne,we always were able to enjoy a potted herring on Friday as a treat.
That were cleaned and de boned to the best of our ability roll moped in a tray and baked in half and half malt vinager for thirty minuiets. I have been able to find the polish pickled raw version but find it undigestible. Please let me know if there is a local source for fresh un salted herring near mississauga thank you Linda and denis
