European Quality Meats & Sausages

European Quality Meats & Sausages
European Quality Meats & Sausages is a great source in Kensington Market for fresh pork, beef and other meat. It's also a popular lunch spot for freshly grilled sausages.

This place has great prices for the quality of meats they carry.

Don't expect premium cuts; for day to day, however, they are unbeatable in value.

I am looking into starting a hot dog vendor in Asia that is something like the streets of Toronto. Is this a good place to stock my hotdogs and sausages? and do they do wholesale prices?

Hi there Kat, the hours are on the door on the way out, maybe instead of talking while you leave the store you can shutup and pay attention to the hours

I worked at this place (the Etobicoke location) for several months and it was one of the worst working experiences of my life, not to mention a place that completely disregarded its employees and many food/health/safety practices. Example: the managers encouraged us to remove expiration dates on pre-packaged sausages and cured meats so that we could sell them to customers, many 'fresh' meats were previously frozen and customers were lied to about this on a daily basis...We were not given breaks during 8 hour shifts when it was especially busy..

So much more..

Just awful. Please everyone, avoid this place - it may be cheap, but that's about all it is.

kastle-freak, you're full of shit. I worked for these guys for a few years before I moved out of Toronto. I am still in touch with the owners. One of the bosses used to hand me 50 dollars with my pay cheque whenever I worked extra hard when it was really busy. So I don't know what you're talking about. Perhaps you were just lazy. Sounds like it to me. Also they are the cleanest meat place around and are inspected by health officals regularly. So what are you talking about? These guys are the purveyors of fine quality meats and sausages, just like the name suggests.
