Part gallery and art shop, part classroom and clay studio, C1 Art Space is as welcoming and unpretentious a gallery as there is in the city. An eclectic collection of works include paintings, mixed media, ceramic, sculpture, metal, jewellery, textile, handmade dolls, and much more. The gallery was developed in 2004 by artist/teacher Sandra Tarantino and artist Ross Bonfanti, two of the seven co-founders of the AWOL gallery up the road.

Gallery hours:

Thursday to Saturday, 12pm - 6pm
Sunday 1pm - 5pm
Monday to Wednesday by appointment

wow i am so sick of this "trying too hard to be quirky and disturbing" type of cheesy arts and crafts sh**. there are a couple of neat things in here but almost everything in this place looks like an ugly doll rip off. try something original, sheesh.
