Eclipse Fitness
On the south side of College in the heart of Little Italy, Eclipse Fitness' space features windows on three sides including a light-infused spin room and fitness studio. The gym also has a good selection of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. A second location can be found at Yonge & Eglinton.

I've been going to this gym for just over 6 months and I have to say that this is by far the best gym I've been to. It's clean, has the loft style effect and the staff are really nice. :)

you can google your location to the gym, you have driving or walking options that would help you determine the distance...geez!

This is a small, no frills, gym. The men's locker room is very small. One of the showers (of 3) doesn't work. The staff turnover is incredible. Every few weeks there's a new person there. Oh, and the equipment- especially the cardio, is old, dusty, and falling apart. Don't go here for classes either. Every week or so they change the schedule. Mostly to cut classes.

Over priced. Over hyped, and not worth the effort.

I've been an eclipse member for a few months now. I like the just basics approach. I go to both locations and they are rarely overcrowded. I never have to wait for cardio equipment or machines. The classes are of good quality and the staff are friendly. Also, as a bonus, with the eclipse membership you get to go to The Adelaide Clib and The Toronto Athletic Cluc four times a month each (just in case you need a few weekly doses or fancy schmancy!) I would recommend this gym.

I have been a member at this gym for about 2 years or so. I think this is a fantastic gym. The staff is super friendly and warm. I enjoy the classes. It's not super fancy and the machines are not the newest but I still enjoy it.

I picked up a two week trial to see how I liked this gym. My overall thoughts on this gym are the following:
1. Extremely clean/organized. Plenty of clean towels. Floors are mopped. Change rooms are clean.
2 Machines are all fully functional.
3. Friendly staff.. none of that arrogance you see at other fitness centres. They're very upfront about the pricing/memberships, etc.
4. WIde variety of classes...spinning, yoga, Zumba.. you name it. Instructors were extremely helpful.
5. WIth each membership they offer you about 5-30 min. sessions with one of their personal trainers.. at no extra cost!

Overall, a great gym!

Unfortunately it looks like they are now owned by GoodLife...

I've been a member since '07 and it was taken over by GoodLife back in early December 2011.
While they have put $$ into it, it's about 500% busier than it used to be.
...I am now in the process of trying to find another gym in the Little Italy area.
