I remember learning boxing here about 15 years ago.
It was only for about a year but it was fun for a middle school kid.
The coach was very kind and his son JJ was a cool too.
I don't remember much about boxing now but this place is a good memory of my past.

The Cabbagetown club was founded in 1972...The club that was in Cabbagetown before that was a club by the name of Glendale Boxing Club run by Pat Giordano and was located on Gerrard St. east of Parliament,. It was in operation back in the 1950s to my knowledge. Baldy Chard and Yack I believe may have trained there at some time.

I leave a response when I especially enjoy a post on a
website or I have something to contribute to
the conversation. Usually it is triggered by the fire communicated in the article I looked at.
And after this post Cabbagetown Boxing Club. I was excited enough to leave a thought :
-) I actually do have 2 questions for you if you don't mind.
Is it simply me or does it seem like some of these responses appear as if they
are left by brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are posting on additional online social
sites, I'd like to keep up with anything new you have to
post. Could you list all of your communal pages like your
Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
