Impress David Suzuki, Impress Your Country, Impress Your Government

National treasure David Suzuki asks the question on his YouTube Group Page: "What would you do for the environment if you were Prime Minister?"

With his 50-city national tour well underway, Suzuki is inviting all Canadians to upload a 15-30 second clip of themselves letting the biggies in Ottawa hear what WE (if we were them) need to do about issues like reducing pollution, saving endangered species, and fighting global warming.

Here's what you need to do (as summed up from the site):

  • Start your script by saying your first name, the city you live in, and then, "If I were Prime Minister..."

  • Let us know what you'd do to protect nature. Would you ban all SUVs? Would you give a free bike to every family in Canada? Would you make polluters pay for the messes they create?

  • Upload your video to this YouTube group.

  • Test your video out to make sure it works.

  • Pat yourself on the back! Fame and glory await!

And if any BlogTo readers would like to leave a link to their vids in the comments, please do so! We'd love to see 'em.
