We all know that TIFF is happening right now, but what many people don't know is that the REBELFEST International Film Festival is also running. It's a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating independent, international filmmakers. It started on Sept. 07 and ends tomorrow, a shorter film fest than TIFF, and cheaper too since tickets are only $10.

If you want to enjoy films that might not get large distribution check out the schedule. It's not as glamourous as TIFF, but I think that may be the point.
