This Week in Fashion: The Post Market, Blogger Bazaar, Pinewood wardrobe sale, Bellwoods Block Party

This Week in Fashion rounds up the week's style news, store openings and closings, pop-up shops, sales and upcoming fashion and design events in Toronto. Find it here every Wednesday morning.

EVENTS

This weekend (May 31 & June 1), visit the old post office at Queen East and Winnifred (1075 Queen St E) for a pleasant surprise: The Post Market - a weekend shopping event filled to the brim with vendors like Violet Crown Vintage, Greenhouse Juice and Fitzroy Boutique. From 11am until 5pm each day, pick through to find treasures like vintage clothing, accessories, apothecary, organic food, and way more.

This Sunday (June 1), head to 431 College Street (just above Sneaky Dee's) for Fat Girl Food Squad's plus size pop-up shop. Find vintage and second hand gems including clothing sizes 14 and up, a smattering of shoes, and handmade jewellery all in one place.

Blogger Bazaar TO is returning for its second annual event at the Soho House (192 Adelaide St W). Shop the closets of ten local bloggers including Nelia of Styleblog and Sharon and Tara of The BackseatStylers from noon until 4 pm on Sunday (June 1). Don't forget to hit up an ATM beforehand - the sale is cash only.

Every first Sunday of the month all summer long, 198 Walnut Ave will be home to Bellwoods Block Party - a shopping party complete with local designers, artists, vintage dealers, food and drink vendors, live music, and good company. Pop by from 11 am until 6 pm for the first of many instalments this Sunday (June 1), and don't forget your dancing shoes!

SALES

Up until the end of the month, all TNT locations are hosting a charity event in support of Camp Oochigeas - a camp for children with cancer. With a minimum donation of $20, receive 20% - 50% off your entire purchase. Plus, there'll be giveaways from Lazypants, Tkees, Freecity and more.

For two days only this Friday (May 30) and Saturday (May 31), the Textile Museum of Canada (55 Centre Ave) is hosting a massive fabric and craft sale in tents just outside their doors. Find a wide selection of fashion fabrics and upholstery - as well as yarn, beads, buttons and more - from 11 am until 6 pm on Friday and 11 am until 2 pm on Saturday.

Toronto fashion label Dagg & Stacey is opening up their studio (15 Adrian Ave, unit 223) to the public for a spring sale including anything and everything they have left over from past seasons. Get your expertly draped womenswear at marked down prices this Friday (May 30) and Saturday (May 31) only.

On Saturday (May 31), Pinewood Film Studio (255 Commissioner St) will be home to this season's CAFTCAD Movie Wardrobe Sale, where over 30 vendors will offer their outrageous and unique clothing from 9 am until 5 pm. It'll be a mix of high-end, classic, and vintage garments, plus a few wardrobe supplies here and there at discounted prices. The $5 admission will go towards CAFTCAD's upcoming projects.
