IDS TorontoOnce a year, the design world's eyes are fixed firmly on Toronto. The Interior Design Show puts celebrated designers and massive international firms side by side with emerging Canadian and international creators, filling the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with some of the best eye candy the world has to offer. Here are some of the standout exhibits and creations, from the splashy and high-tech to the weird and whimsical (and, of course, the just plan gorgeous).

Check out out this photo gallery of my top 25 design finds at IDS 2014.

It is too bad that photos 19-21 don't display. I was hoping to see them all.

The show was decent at best. Best part was the Kartell pop-up by Suite 22...left with a clock and vase.

I was more than satisfied with IDS2014. Lots of new ideas, trends and inspiration in one place. I think that IKEA have outdone themselves this year. I was intrigued by their Stockholm chandeliers. I believe they're captured on the second photograph in the gallery. However, the lighting fixtures by the Living Lighting were outstanding too. Apart from the dazzling lamp fixtures, I really liked the attention to detail with some of the bathroom and furniture trends, in particular a bold violet tap and yellow armchairs. I have written a brief recap of the Interior Design Show and included a few pictures from the event too.
