Of all the interesting TIFF party venues this year the official TIFF launch party was at a place rather ordinary - Maple Leaf Square at the Air Canada Centre. Whether this was a step up from last year's Liberty Grand soiree can be debated over bottles of Grolsch or in the rush line at a theatre near you.
