Jay Strut: Take some advice from Coco Chanel and take one thing off before you head out the door.

I saw Ian on the subway last night wearing this outfit and turned to my friend and said, if you are going to wear socks.. wear socks. If you are going to go sockless.. go sockless. There is no in between.

Jay is awesome. I've been to the store where he works and he's the best at finding clothes for customers in a totally non bullshit way. He'll tell you straight up what works and doesn't work for you. Oh and he has more class and style in his pinky than any of you armchair fashionisters will ever have in a lifetime.

Snarkiness aside, this Street Style post is significantly better than usual. People in Toronto have style? People in Toronto have style! :D

so, like, Ian. what subway station did he get off at?

cos damn he's hot.

as for the sockless thing "sonny", it's just like tights/sweat socks/ankle socks with heels. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT.

One of the best Street Styles yet, except for the last girl who looks like she's imitating Spiderman while on the way to a funeral.

I'm in tears laughing at the photos of Jay... I mean, I get that he's a 'fashion blogger' and all, but he looks like fashion blog threw up on him or something. There is such a thing as trying too hard, and it's rather declasse. Sort of the opposite of what he's trying to do, I suspect.

I think he should just grow himself a set of tits and be rebranded as Jay Slut.

jay strut comes off as very clueless. i think he has some image issues. that sweater might have been cool in 1998 at northern getaway.

I am sure we have much better street style than this in Toronto, i See it everyday on my way to work in downtown Toronto. My question is why were these people picked not one of them except the black dress ( maybe) says style to me.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree "henhouse".

I'm just saying, that that slight bit of teal is not enough pop if thats what he was going for. If it isn't and he was trying to fold his socks down into your shoes for that "SOCKLESS" look, make sure they stay there.

I like Ian's layering, but I think a tie would be better than that scarf. Maybe a skinny tie?

Jay Strut, that bag is so dated.
