Can Tommy Hilfiger attract the scenesters again?
I remember the long-ago days of the nineties when all the cute young boys wanted Tommy Hilfiger this, and Tommy Hilfiger that. Wow, was that a long time ago.
The prepwear giant is now making a play for the hipster market, and chose to launch their new contempo-line for girls and guys, Tommy, in Canada.
The collection won't launch 'til later this fall, but fashion types, media mavens, and, I heard, a few of the Refinery29.com gals got a sneak peek at the stuff last Thursday at a Gladstone soiree.
Will the wee scenester lads and ladies of today want Tommy once more? We'll have to wait and see.
