All of these people look pretty good, I think. They're appropriately dressed for the weather and the setting, and nobody is wearing anything that's too tight or reveals more than you'd want to see.
I wouldn't be too quick to criticize this group. (You want to see Walmart style, go to peopleofwalmart.com ...) And if Jennifer is so common, then why is such effortless style so uncommon? (It does help that she's a beauty!)
The beach is suppose to be simple. shorts & t-shirt (for guys), same formula with any light top for girls.
Gavin - I hate ripped jean shorts. It is "trends" like that which put people off fashion.
Melanie - Nice dress but I was at a funeral yesterday & you would have fit in perfectly.
David - Jeans at the beach, especially when it is that hot is unthinkable.
Braxton - Adidas sandals aside, your shorts are 100x too big.

I do have an issue with some of the people's interpretations of their own style. Braxton looks cute, but is he "different and unique"? Not really. Sheldon is different and unique. David says his style is "no-style", however he clearly does care about what he is wearing. No style to me would a purely comfortable outfit- something you'd wear at home to watch tv in, like track pants and a loose old t-shirt.
But aside from a couple of people's wonky interpretations of their style, great entry!
