Street Style: Black, Tights and a Bit of Colour
Light jackets and even heavier winter coats are a common sight on the streets of Toronto these days. Black is still the over-riding theme, cropping up this week in everything from leather pants to hats to driving gloves. It's always nice though to see an outfit accented with a bit of colour.

Eat a sammich.
Her crotch is crazy crazy high though. Wow.
And yes, you can argue that naturally, creative professionals are more likely to have style. BUT--there are stylishly dressed accountants (I used to work with one), school teachers, and bank tellers. It's just BlogTO tends to look for subjects in the arty/studenty part of town.
Also, far be it from me to defend the skeleton parade I've tended to see in these features, but Stephanie seems to be a bit more normal-sized, doesn't she? I like the colour of her tights, too, and she is wearing something over them!
I'm very confused by Phoebe. Very. And Laura's wearing peep toes in November -- really? Girls are so silly sometimes.
And hell, aren't actors and artists some of the poorer demographics?
However, bank tellers do **not** make big bucks. Don't you remember the kerfuffle involving CIBC and one of its bank tellers who launched a lawsuit because of all the unpaid overtime she was forced to work? Being a bank teller is a drudge job.
OK, so tellers make more than a retail clerk, but believe me, they're working schlubs, not fabulously well-to-do.
Ugh. Send them back to the mothership, please. There are lots of creative stylish dresssers out there, or at least those that don't blindly follow fashion trends that don't suit their body type.
Besides that, some good choices, Tyler and Kurt especially have a nice, clean look to them. Where can one find an airplane sweater! Trish has some amazing boots also.
I thought T.O. was a "multicultural" diverse city....
strange enough..i don't see much diversity here(style or cultural)
I don't think everyone is into the skinny jeans
And I don't think it's right to poke fun at people in the picture either... put yourself in their shoes. How would you feel to be made fun of by random people just for being yourself?
Just a thought - with Kate seemingly very tall & model-esque, you shouldn't take a shot from the ground up. Makes her legs and body structure look weird although I know they aren't in the least.
FYI - Much Music VJ Sarah Taylor (I think that's her last name) made it onto the Sartorialist and she looks great!

those two girls look like baby giraffes that just stood up, and i agree with someone up there - what's with the blinding whiteness?
