New Era's Toronto Caps

A huge New Era store opened earlier this month at 202 Queen Street West (Map). The four-level hat emporium has about 750 different types of caps including dozens of Toronto themed ones such as old-school Blue Jays and Leafs in what seems like all the colours in the rainbow.

While the launch party was characterized by cupcakes and a few really large men stuffing their gift bags with cans of Red Bull from the makeshift bar, what should bring 'em back is a nifty machine on the lower level that lets staff adjust caps while you wait (and for free) in case they're a bit too big or snug off the rack.

Prices for caps range from $30 to $1,000 with most priced at about 40 bucks.

I was wondering how and where I would have to go to find about applying to this company. I have been really interested in working for a large based business revolving around my hobby and interest at heart. Thanks!

To answer your question, which happened to have crossed my mind as well, I asked them if getting a logo, drawing or some sort of stitching done. You must contact New Era directly; must be a company or gathering of high enough importance (not a regular customer) and you must purchase at least 150 copies of what you wish to design. To be direct, this service is not quite available to too many people. As much as they should do it for regular customers, they reserve the right to produce in "large quantities" custom designs from a business point of view.
