Amber Delicious Fashion Show Tonight
This summer, I walked down the College strip between Bathurst and Spadina almost daily. Last month I noticed a new sign in one of the empty shops. A pretty little sign at the bottom corner of the front window stating "Amber Delicious" in simple cursive letters.
As the store moved into the final stages of moving in, I saw more pink (thumbs up from me), more pretty, more feminine details emerging from the decor, the window dressings, and what I could see of the inside.
I left for Europe before I could take a peek inside the store. However, I just received word today of a fashion show (a sort-of delayed grand opening preview, I suspect?) there tonight. Might be worth a peek. The preview on their website indicates a few kooky cutesy pieces that look promising.
Amber Delicious is located at 388 College Street between Spadina and Bathurst. The in-store show will be held tonight at 7PM. Refreshments will be provided and items will be available for purchase.
Regular store hours are Wed-Sat 11AM-7PM or via appointment at 647-296-2100.

The pieces that Amber created are truly original. Mixing vintage styling with her unique eye for texture, colour, and pattern resulted in a kind of girly sophistication; cute and provocative all at once. Congratulations Amber!
