Stopping Traffic at HUH

22may05_huh.jpgFor those who travel Queen West past Bathurst regularly would be familiar with designer Linh Diep's humble boutique HUH located at 847 Queen St West. It is arguably, the only dress shop along the strip that stops traffic.

At least that seems to be the case for the 2.5 hours I spent that one weekend I was in there. Ladies were cooing and gasping at the designs and men stopped to stare at the dresses in the front window. The reaction always seems to be the same, "I want to buy everything in this store."

Diep, who designs everything in her store follows a simple rule.

She makes 3 dresses of the same design, one in each size. Where else can you get one of a kind designs for under $200? And her designs don't stop at dresses. The boutique carries shirts, jacket, pants, skirts, purses and jewelry all design and made with loving care by its boutique owner.

Next time you're looking for that dress that no one has and want to knock people off their feet check the digs at HUH.

By "one in each size", I take it you mean small, medium and large. If the designer used the numerical size chart, she'd have a heck of a time deciding which three sizes to choose from such a wide spectrum.

Yeah ... I would imagine she uses standard sizing ... and then she custom tailors them should you decide to purchase them.
