Yorkdale Nabs First Apple Store in TO

Word on the street is that Yorkdale Mall has nabbed the first Apple store in Toronto. It's too bad, I was hoping Apple would "think outside the mall" and open a store on Queen or King street. I guess there's always hoping that store number 2 will be more pedestrian and bike friendly. Heck, we can always still shop at Carbon Computing on Queen East.

The store is apparently slated to open in May.

According to the boarding in front of what will be the storefront of the Apple Store at Yorkdale, the opening will be April 21st. Or 23rd. Now I can't quite recall. Anyway. April, not May.

Hurrah!
