Tony's Men's Hair StylingIn business since 1959, and operated by Amri Khatib since 2003, Tony's Men's Hair Styling offers a minimalist take on the traditional barber shop. New chairs and a sparse yet luxurious decor complement old-fashioned service that includes scissor cuts, razor neck shaves and exquisite attention to detail delivered with the help of right-hand barber Frank.

Great spot. I've been going since moving into Leaside. My whole family goes whenever they can even those who've left the area. Great cuts. great staff. Great atmosphere.

Tony's barber shop and staff are very unique. They really care about the service they provide. I have been going to Tony's for about 20 years. Amri really takes pride in his work and ensure the customers are happy. He is very hard working individual and kind. You really feel comfortable at this barber shop. He can talk to you about any subject you wish. Its a great place and really has taken on a new atmosphere since Amri has taken over. I would highly recommend this barber shop to everyone.

Been coming to see amri at Tony's since he first joined the shop. he brings a fresh look and is worth waiting for no matter how big the line up. If i ever need a new cut Amri is my man at Tony's Place. By far the best shop in town

If You live near midtown TO and don't go to Tony's for your haircut, you're missing out. I have been going there for a decade now since I moved my office and later my residence to the area. The shop has been enhanced since Amri took over from Tony and redecorated. It's very cosy. Now I also bring my sons there for a boys haircut day with dad. Amri and the gang always make you feel at home like family. In fact I was just there yesterday and his young daughter greeted me as she recalled me on previous visits there with my sons. The haircuts are excellent and so is the friendly service. My kids love it and they always look forward to the lollipops they get too. All the best to you Amri and team!

Since I discovered Amri at Tony's Ihave not needed to look for a better place to get my haircut. I used to go to a fancier salon and pay a lot more and did not get as good a cut. Amri knows what he is doing, often giving suggestions but not pushy. His up grades have made a good place even better. It is always clean bright and cheery.

If you were lucky to find Amri you know there is one less thing to worry in your life. You will look and feel great after leaving this place. He is Edward Scissorhands at his best. Oh, and you do not have to worry to be cut accidentally. There is always a happy ending over there.

Been going to this Barber Shop for 16 years. Amri is the greatest! I always come away feeling great after he has cut my hair. I have never had a disappointing experience from him.

Tony's barber shop is the best in Toronto. I never seen someone that gives his customer the time and the attention like Amri. He'll always take his time to ensure that you get the perfect hair cut you expect from him everytime you go to his shop; he always exceeds my expactation. He even took his time to give my 1 year old son a perfect hair cut that everyone was impressed with. I never seen someone that loves and enjoy what he does like Amri. So thank you Amri and keep up the good work.

how much is a cut and shave>?

Nic on August 13, 2009 at 9:13 AM

Do they do shaves with a straight razor here? Did anyone here get one done? Did you like it?

Arron on October 26, 2009 at 9:33 AM

Do not get you hair cut by Frank he is the worst barber I have been to in 25 years. When i said trim and he took out the clippers, and i said no just use the scissors he assured me that nothing would co wrong i went from a full head to pretty much a buzz cut in fatal pass withe the clippers. You should have to pay for bad hair cuts, and barbers should be striped of there trade.

DO NOT LET FRANK CUT YOUR HAIR.

As much as I love the haircuts, I wasn't impressed with the shave. No hot towels so the shave was rough and I had vicious razor burn. My face was really, really sore afterwards. No cuts but a rough shave. I ended up having to shave again after I got home. But the haircut from Amri was great. I wouldn't get my haircut anywhere else but I will go elsewhere for my wetshave.
