Immediately, Sarah's husband welcomed us and offered us a tour. Soon after, Sarah joined him and gave me numerous options that she thought could work. I was looking for a shorter dress, and knew that this would make my search a bit more challenging (or so I thought). Sarah willingly took the time to explain countless options that would suit my preference. "This top, with this bottom... this fabric, and a shorter version of this...etc". I was in bride-heaven, basically being told that I could have the dress of my dreams. Not surprisingly, I booked an appointment for the following weekend.
When I arrived with my bridal party and mom, we were greeted and offered champagne (such a nice touch!). I had heard and been a part of countless bridal appointments that ended in stress, tears, and frustrations. However, I just KNEW that I was not going to have one of "those" experiences. The appointment flowed with ease and I felt so special, and beautiful in Houston's designs. The area of the boutique that the brides-to-be get to try on dresses is simply dream come true. Equipped with a runway, large mirrors, a dressing room, and beautiful couches for your guests, you get an experience like nothing I have ever seen before. Sarah's daughter, Courtney was my consultant, but Sarah was there and helping for most of my appointment. It was a very personable and enjoyable experience. We were laughing, talking, and naturally my mom was in tears (good tears of course). At no point did I feel pushed or pressured to make a decision or commit to a dress. Although I loved all of the dresses, I felt a special connection to a certain combination that Sarah had suggested. And that was it, first time trying on dresses and I was SOLD. I felt no need to continue my search. I had found the perfect dress and the perfect designer.
That was back in August. Now, with less than 3 months before our Vegas wedding, I simply CANNOT wait to get my dress and have my fiance see me walk down the aisle. The whole experience has been seamless and I could not have asked for anything better. Buying a wedding dress is such an important and personal experience and I am so happy that I found the Sarah Houston Bridal Boutique. I have an will continue to recommend this place to anyone getting married. You will not be disappointed.
Sarah Houston's Bridal experience is everything I've ever imagined my wedding dress shopping dreams would consist of. Sarah and her staff are so friendly and accommodating right from the moment you walk into this breathtaking bridal salon. I felt so comfortable with the Courtney (my wedding dress consultant) and we had a lovely time searching throughout the store for exactly what I wanted. I made an appointment for just myself, as I'm easily influenced by the opinions of others, so I wanted to experience the wedding dress hunt in private—which is a bit unorthodox, but they made me feel right at home.
Observing how wonderfully decorated the boutique is, I knew I was going to find the perfect gown for me. The first floor is pretty, with a vintage-chic theme and beautiful white & ivory gowns lining store. Each gown that I tried on was uniquely designed by Sarah, and would fit a range of looks from romantic & sensual, to dramatic & vivacious. I loved the second floor's runway and Antique-Parisian styled dressing room, its my favourite room of the boutique itself. The gowns are so gorgeous, with intricate detail to each one—from silk & lace, to crystals; the possibilities are endless, & its hard to pick just one! I finally narrowed down my gown and matched it with a dazzling crystal belt and matching veil. I could not have wished for a more positive experience!
