Ralph's Barber ShopTucked away on the ground floor of an office building, Ralph's has been bucking trends (but staying in style) at its current location since 1980. Proprietor Ralph Schiavone entered the trade at age ten, sweeping floors in barber shops in Italy and working his way up the ranks. Co-barber Nick Tunzi has been with the shop sixteen years.

Love this place. Been going there for six years, and kept going even after I moved out of the neighbourhood. Ralph and Nick are the two nicest guys you'll ever meet.

I went to Ralph's for the first time today and got a cut from Nick. It was great. He was very friendly and did a great job.

Just heard that Nick died last week of a sudden heart attack. He had cut my hair for close to forty years.

Sucks. They've had different people in Nick's place - and they're just not the same.

Stick to Ralph.

I had my hair cut exclusively by Nick. He did great work. In my opinion he was the guy to cut your hair at that establishment.
I certainly miss him. May he rest in peace.

They are not there anymore. He's retired

Whoever said they're closed - not true.

The guy (Anthony?) who seems to have replaced Nick long-term is fine. A bit tightly wrapped, but he knows his way around a pair of clippers.

Oh yeah, they're still there. Anthony's actually a really funny guy; it's kind of nice to have a (relatively) younger guy there with Ralph.

Ralph and Anthony make a good pair, and either can cut my hair any time. (They get a small extra finder's fee). Ralph's is a small but special part of the Toronto scene. And - thanks, Nick.

This is the best barbershop in Toronto! I tried one of the others that was highly hyped and highly overrated, and I left that barbershop with cuts and nicks and razor burn from a shave! But Ralph knows what he's doing. He's thorough and really takes his time to make you look your best. I wish I had found this barbershop a long time ago!

By far, the best barbershop in all of Toronto. I got my hair cut by Anthony - he got my look exactly right, no muss, no fuss. Great price, greater service, greatest barbers!
