Nailsense

Posted by Natalia Manzocco / Posted on August 25, 2014

nailsense torontoNailsense is a modern, minimalist nail salon at Yonge and Glencairn. Regulars love the place for its quiet, relaxing vibe and thorough nail techs. Shockingly enough, considering the location and atmosphere, a basic manicure will run you just $15.

Careful booking online! I read reviews before going and booked the person everyone was raving about, only to find out while paying that she has a service charge. In addition, I had to wait about half an hour once I arrived, despite having made an appointment. As mentioned by another reviewer, the owner is awful. I asked about the extra charges, as well as adding a complaint about how the tech ruined my pedicure and didn't fix it. He ignored my actual complaint and it was then I was told about the service charge. No apology, no offer of compensation. Just a waste of $90 (gel mani + regular pedi plus tax and 15% tip)
