The staff are all great and genuinely friendly. A quiet relaxing atmosphere, if that's what you want, especially nice for the men or a chatty environment that's not gossipy just good girlfriend chit-chat. Wonderful products. Helpful advice too but they're not pushy about buying their stuff after your treatment.

This place is fantastic....the only true one stop pampering place I've found. You can get everything from spray tan (amazing - you can even get spray on abs!!) to highlights.

I love this salon. The staff are amazing, and extremely knowledgeable! I've been going for laser and I fully trust Carol. The results after 4 sessions have been really impressive, and I'm glad I chose to go here this. It's worth the money!!! Not to mention all the other services and products they salon in a great neighbourhood!

Why are men's manicures cheaper than the same service for women? There are other 'green' salons in the city that charge the same for both genders. Perhaps Lush & Lavish should do the same.

I did not like this spa. They made a mistake with my appointment aswell as my sisters. I had to call back and confirm several times, receptionist seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. Very disorganized!!

Thats a sales technique. Its obvious that more women get mani+pedi's than women, and the lower rate encourages men to get them done as opposed to just sitting and waiting for their significant other in the waiting room or whatever. It brings in a mixed customer base. They didn't just target men at a cheaper rate for no reason.

...How does that make any sense? Any good spa I've ever been to, Mens MANicures are always cheaper. That is the weirdest complaint I have ever seen on a review.

I love how women are complaining about men's manicures being cheaper yet no one says anything about ladies night at the bar where guys pay a $15 cover just to get in. Ever. This is why Im against feminism.

I merely wanted to thank you a lot more for your remarkable
website you have developed here. It is full of usefultips
for those who are really interested in this specific subject,
mainly this post.

That is totally not relevant. One cannot debase feminist theory on just the annoyance of having to pay more than women on ladies night. Bars do that to lure in more men, and get their business. It's a marketing tool, and ladies get none of the benefit from the discount unless the male patrons at the bar are pleasant company. And from your comment, if you were there, the discount may not be worth it.

I advise everyone to stay away from this salon.
I had a terrible colour and cut job at Lush & Lavish. The hairstylist failed to follow correct procedure when applying the toner for my platinum blonde hair and this resulted in me developing several chemical burns along my hairline. These burns showed up as irritated scabs about an hour after I had left the salon. During the actual colouring, I felt like my hair was falling out and when voicing my pain to my hairstylist she assured me this was the standard discomfort felt during bleaching. I had only had my hair fully bleached once a few months previously, at a different salon and did not feel anything close to the alarming pain I felt this time. After she had cut, coloured and styled my hair, we noticed a bit of red irritation around my hairline. I was led to believe that this was normal, payed $150 for the service and walked out of the salon happy. After about an hour, the scabs began to develop along my hairline, and each friend and family member who saw me was shocked to see the state my skin was in. I contacted the salon with my situation, asking for help on what could be done to aid the healing of these burns. Weeks after this ordeal, I have yet to hear back from the salon. They have not taken any ownership or responsibility over the damage that was caused to my skin in their salon. I did hear back from the hairstylist who refused to acknowledge the fact that she had caused severe harm to my skin. She admitted that she had made a mistake when applying toner to my hair (she should have waited 5-10min after mixing the product before applying). She insisted that I had experienced an allergic reaction which is absurd. I had taken several photos of my hairline in which the severity of these chemical burns is clear to see. The hairstylist refused to give me a refund ($158 including a generous tip) and instead offered that my next service at Lush & Lavish be compensated.
Needless to say, I will never return to this salon. In my experience they have proved to be extremely unprofessional and uncaring despite having caused harm to a client. As mentioned before, I have yet to hear anything back from the management of Lush & Lavish, which is mind-blowing.
I share this story with every single person who asks me about my platinum blonde hair and I hope this review reaches even more people considering a visit to this incomprehensibly unprofessional place.
