Green Shag

Posted by Staff / Posted on January 29, 2011

Green Shag TorontoGreen Shag offers man hockey-themed cuff links, shirts, pocket squares and suiting. Embarrassing tag line aside ("everybody needs a shag,"), this bespoke retailer's goal is to make you look your best by way of custom suits and separates, an increasingly unique feature, especially in our fair city. If that means you rock a curling-inspired cuff link, then so be it.

The frizzy-haired woman who said she was the owner is down right RUDE!

In regards to the above post,

Are you kidding me? I have always been treated like a life-long friend in this establishment, from the first time I walked through the door.

No, I am not kidding you. I really wish that I was actually. She most definitely did NOT treat me like a life-long friend. She was very curt and rude actually. Too bad.

I have to agree with the above post about the curly-haired lady being rude (is that the owner?). I've been into the store twice in my life, the first time after I had bought 5 jeans from Sydney's virtually next door. The curly-haired lady paid me no attention, made no attempt at conversation, answered with one-word replies without even making eye contact as she was busy fussing with her own business. The second time there was a sale so I dropped by and received the same treatment (or lack thereof shall I say). Suffice to say, zero customer service and what appeared to be zero interest in me as a potential buyer.

Also had terrible experiences here. Have had bespoke shirts made around the world - and this one is second class. Takes way too long, and too many fittings! (plus rude owner per above)
