Hey everyone - this is Jeremy - the old owner of Article 8. I am now the Director or www.astroscreenprinting.ca which is a big Tshirt engine that prints for independent artists, designers and corporate clients... I truly wanted to keep the shop open but my landlords got greedy when I asked for a decreased rent during the horrid Winter retail months on College - The opportunity at Astro has given me a tremendous experience and we're moving into 2010 having doubled what we did last year. Do I work for the man? No.. The guys here are all artists, musicians and firstly independent minded Technicians who strive to print the coolest shirts and continue to distribute design and print internationally.. One day Article 8 may come back - I truly miss the neighborhood and the sweet-street-city vibe and experience but 5 years in retail was enough for my early 20s. Cheers to any one who came by the shop and sorry if I let any souls down that believed in an independent minded boutique making it on a street that gains stock by pushing booze and food.. I guess I'll see you all there for a drink and a bite!
