AristotelisA perennial favourite at Richmond and Spadina. Aristotelis Koukodimos learned his trade in the Greek army. Augmented by son Larry, who eschewed a career in civil engineering to join the family business, and long-time confederate Tito, Aristotelis provides quality cuts and shaves in a relaxed atmosphere. A foodie and a car lover, Larry will tell you where to eat and what to drive.

This is one of my favourite barber shops too. Nice, unpretentious atmosphere. I got some great super short cuts there.

How much do they charge for a typical haircut?
Jane / January 24, 2009 at 07:37 pm
Larry is the best... I'm a gal and I get my hair cut there too! In the past I have foolishly strayed and paid 80 bucks at Coupe Bizarre for a haircut... and ended upcoming right back to Larry. Cadillac haircuts at a Yugo price!

Best barbers in TO! Straight shooters... Love the quick cuts and good chats you can have with the boys at Aristoltelis! You can't beat a family business!

I got one of teh worst hair cuts in my life from Aristotel, this guy has no idea what he's doing and it took me 4 months to recover the horror!, on the other hand Larry does a great job

I went in for the first time today. I wanted a basic short cut and came out with an uneven haircut.

blogTO's ranking is a joke. This place is not the 2nd best barber shop in Toronto. Get your facts straight.

Got a great flat top there. I will go back. thanks!

This is a great read. Reminds me of JJ Hair Club and my favorite girl, Gloria who works like magic. When I visited the place, I knew right there and then that I am going to meet not just a hair expert but a friend. If you are interested to look great and to have the excellent service of Gloria, have these contact details in mind:

Hey larry,

by any chance, do you go to the tim horton's at 16th and woodbine and drive that nice, blue bmw 3 series?

I'm one of the employees that regularly serves you coffee on drive through, but i'm not sure if this is you! When i read "what to drive", i thought it may be you!

I'll be sure to introduce myself the next time i see you. Ask for Moiez, pronounced (Mo-yez) if you're there on friday or saturday. I want to get in the habit of using a straight razor and i have many questions!

This is the only place I would trust if you live in the area. It has a great local feel and Larry & Tito are hilarious.

I am bold and don't know much about hair cuts, but I do know one thing about Larry , he is your man when it comes to good food and cars.

I've been going to Aristotelis's shop for my haircuts for well over a decade, ever since the days when the shop was on Queen St. W. Aristotelis, Larry, and Tito are all great and I've never been unhappy with any of the haircuts I got there.

I've been going to this place since 1999. Relaxed atmosphere & the gentlemen do a good job. I'm always satisfied with the work they do.
