Amazing Party Store
The Amazing Party Store is a Halloween Mecca found in Etobicoke just south of the QEW. The shop resides in small industrial park. The first thing that first-times might find odd is that a private industrial lot around the corner from the shop offers Amazing Party Store parking for $5 and a back way entrance to the shop.
Those bypassing this deal and venturing closer to the shop will likely be greeted by traffic mayhem. On a recent visit I found parked cars lining the seemingly quiet industrial street, and another 10 cars were maneuvering the narrow road trying to find parking. The shop had even hired three guys to try and direct traffic. As this was a Sunday morning 2 weeks before Halloween I was somewhat surprised with the volume of people hunting down costumes.
The entrance way to the Amazing Party Store features a selection of their Halloween lawn decorations. They offer a wide range of tombstones, headless goblins, skeletons, caskets, and other spooky decorations. Upon entering the store, one realizes just how massive it is. They offer 12,000 square feet of wall-to-wall Halloween costumes and decorations.
I have never seen so many costumes in one place. The Amazing Party Store advertises 2000 different costumes for adults, children and even pets. They honestly seem to carry everything from Jesus in the Big Lebowski, Lady Gaga circa the 2009 MTV VMAs, Ali G, and at least 4 different versions of Tom Cruise from Top Gun.
But the piece de resistance here has to be their Star Wars repertoire. They carry some pretty sweet looking Storm Troopers, Boba Fet, and even an inflatable Jabba the Hut. The Amazing Party Store also carries a wide selection of slightly offside costumes (blunt monster, pregnant nun), and sexually suggestive costumes (think sassy Elmo, wet t-shirt contest winner, inflatable doll costume).
Regardless of what look you're going for, the Amazing Party Shop probably has you covered. Costumes range in price anywhere from $45 - $110, depending on amount of material and accessories.
The Amazing Party Store also has a great selection of make-up, face paint, colour eye contacts, latex facial lacerations, wigs, and other necessary accessories to complete your spooky look.

I decided to return the item and went back to the store and the manager/owner totally freaked out on me!!! I've never been treated so poorly in all my life!! Buyers beware!!
The staff were awesome and one of the owners was even available to help out finding everything I needed!!!
A must see!!!!
O
Don't be deceived by the owners initial willingness to help you. He's simply seeing $$. I bought a costume for my 5 year old nephew along with a few accessories. I had a very hectic day so didn't check to make sure all pieces were in the bag. Of course, on my way to the party I notice they aren't! I thought this would mean a simple exchange. The owner told me he doesn't know what I did with the costume after I left and that I had full opportunity to try it on! Right.... A 30 year old in a small child costume. In addition to extremely poor service by the owner, its very expense and the batteries for the safety light expired almost 2 years ago. CHeCk EVERYThING before you leave if you have to resort to shopping here.

The website will also give you a good idea of the stock we carry.
Plus, we may need bloody Gorey accessories.
and the owner is a real gem - i have been a couple times only to see and hear the owner loose it on clients or staff. Some of the staff are quite helpful but most couldn't give a crap -- i guess that would be the reflection of management.
