The Need To Feed: Lydia Lunch Live
Order tickets via Eventbrite:
Join us for an intimate and interactive dinner party with a living legend and one of the most influential artists of our time: Lydia Lunch.
Your hosts are local cultural insurgents Michael Venus, Lexi Sanfino, and Andrew Awesome, who will guide you to your table and invite you to enjoy delicious vegan or meaty nourishment via a special Prix Fixe menu created by the Steady and inspired by Lydia's recently released cookbook, The Need to Feed.
After dinner, Lydia will read from her forthcoming Hustler Magazine piece Cuntzilla vs the Cockocracy alongside other delectable morsals from her texts. The artist will then entertain the audience's questions in a conversation moderated by Betti Forde (aka Maren Hancock/Hancunt).
This cultural and culinary smorgasborg ends with music and dancing care of queer-punk EDM duo #entertainment (DJs Dislexia & Betti Forde)
Act now as this once in a lifetime event will sell out fast with only 50 tickets available.

A Message from Presented by (Alt) Night, Andrew Awesome & Betti Forde:
Hello Lydia fans,
Betti Forde here, hoping everyone is feeling extra-witchy-awesome as we approach Halloween, and…The Need to Feed! Needless to say, we are extremely excited to be hosting Lydia Lunch live at The Steady this Sunday November 3.
Our excitement has been turned up to 11 since seeing the succulent Prix Fixe menu prepared by The Steady, which weds Lydia’s recipes from her cookbook The Need to Feed with their own sexy and nutritious touch.
In order to make your experience awesome, please RSVP here to let us know “you’re coming for dinner” and if you plan to order vegan or meaty. Please note that dinner is separate from the ticket price, and that only the Prix Fixe menus will be available at set costs. Please see menu & pricing below. Dinner seating starts at 6pm, so consider arriving around then if you’d like lots of time to savor dinner before Lydia takes the stage at 8pm.
If you prefer to nosh at home and join us in time for the performance then there is no need to RSVP, just show up with your ticket before 8pm (if you don’t want to miss a minute!). The Steady has a cute little front bar where you can hang out and drink before the show (they have sexy coffees and virgin drinks too).
At 8pm Lydia will read from a selection of her works and engage in an audience Q & A, followed by a dance party driven by DJs Betti Forde & Dislexia, aka #entertainment. Lydia will also have limited copies of her cookbook The Need to Feed for sale, so you can take the whole experience home with you ;).
