In this documentary film, acclaimed National Geographic photographer James Balog—a former climate change skeptic and cynic about academic research—discovers undeniable evidence of the world's melting glaciers. He conducted an Extreme Ice Survey, a revolutionary time-lapse, multi-year record of the world`s glaciers, on a mission to gather evidence of our changing climate, yet deliver fragile hope to our carbon-powered planet.
