Produced by the company that brought you KD and the Bomb – called the “hidden gem” of the 2005 Toronto Fringe Festival – The Sorcerer's Apprentice and The Nightwood (adapted from the
creative work of Robin Muller by Guy Doucette), the SEVENTH ANNUAL What Are You Doing UP There?! Festival brings together the work of emerging and established artists, from musicians and magicians, to clowns, comedians, dancers, devisers, poets, painters, performance artists and more, in a celebration of the arts! The festival originated in 2007 as a series of short, student produced plays, showcased in the basement of a house! The festival has grown to include over a hundred of talented artists from a wide variety of disciplines, and we've now moved UP to a new venue at Siren Rock Studios. Back Burner Productions aims to create and produce original Canadian artworks that will enrich the Toronto artistic community! What Are You Doing Up There?! takes all those ideas we've been keeping on the back burner of our minds, and gets them UP on the stage! It's a weekend cabaret like none other, with a different show every night!
