LOWLANDS

Steeped in lush harmonies and set against a backdrop of Canadiana inspired roots, the homegrown sound of Guelph, Ontario based Lowlands, is deceptively addictive and undeniably unique. Bumping shoulders with the likes of Del Barber, Dan Mangan and The Wooden Sky, the band has found their footing amongst some of the countries most notable folk acts. Their latest sophomore release Huron, is lyrically meticulous and emotionally captivating with a dark and unsettled underbelly. Lead singer Gordon J Auld’s somber and stoic themes, cut through with and a tasteful wavering charm matched with embellished and bursting harmonies from duo front man Abrahm Del Bel Belluz.
