Daisy Blue Groff

Singer, lyricist, and songsmith Daisy Blue Gröff is best known for her band Painting Daisies, prairie dogs and prairie gods of the Canadian music scene for over a decade.

Extensive touring brought the group through Canada, Iceland, Holland, Germany, and the US. Their first album “Flambescence” won an ARIA award for Best Folk Album and their second release "Fortissimo" earned them Entertainers of the Year (Nickelback, Jann Arden and Wide Mouth Mason were fellow nominees) at the Prairie Music Awards. Selected from 4,000 other acts, the Daisies won CBC’s Great Canadian Music Dream (Nominated for a Gemini Award) and went on to release a third album "Phonography", produced by Grammy-Nominated Joby Baker.

And they have their own Canadian Trivial Pursuit Card...

Now Daisy Blue Gröff has flown solo. Her new album "Sparrow In A Cyclone" is produced by Joby Baker and released on Lawless+Uncommon Records in 2011.
