Toronto Improv Festival

From October 22-27, local improv powerhouses like Canadian Comedy Award Nominees 2-Man-No-Show and Toronto Fringe Festival Favourite Trotsky and Hutch will attack the stage with comedians from cities across North America (Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, Los Angeles, and Atlanta to name a few). Audiences can expect the same diverse array of acts from TIF this year – from musical improv, to duos and solos, from audience participation to monologue-based shows with very special guests.
This year, TIF expands to 3 stages in Toronto’s hip West End. Local favourites kick off the week at Clinton’s Tavern. Toronto and Chicago-based talent will grace the stage at The Garrison on Wednesday night. The weekend starts early at historic Factory Theatre with 2 special shows featuring Lennon Parham and Jen Caldwell. Other wildly popular shows to look forward to feature local comedy veterans Matt Folliot, Kevin Patrick Robbins, Ken Hall, and Isaac Kesler.
