WindFest Kite Festival

WindFest 2012 returns to Woodbine Beach in Toronto's Beaches neighbourhood.

Now in its third year, Toronto's Waterfront Kite Festival, invites families and individuals to come enjoy the joy of kite flying with tips from expert American and Canadian guest fliers.

Bring your own kite, build one on site, or purchase one from our kite store at the event.

WindFest promises to delight and entertain with giant show kites, intricate artistic kites, extreme sport power kites and aerobatic kite teams performing to music. There will be kites of every size and shape plus activities for kids.

Presented by the TREC Renewable Energy Cooperative and hosted by the Toronto Kite Fliers, WindFest aims to entertain and educate participants with kite making workshops and displays of wind and alternative energy sources.

Members of the community are encouraged to join WindFest 2012 to decorate the sky and learn about wind energy initiatives.
