12 HR Zine Machine

"12 HR Zine Machine" is a performance installation taking place in Room 204 at Gladstone Hotel on Sept 29-30 for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche 2012. We have challenged ten Toronto-based zine makers and artist collectives to create a zine EVERY SINGLE HOUR based on ideas submitted by Nuit Blanchers.

From 7PM - 7AM, a new zine group will join the machine every hour and create a zine that will be printed, web-published and distributed by the next hour. Nuit Blanche guests are invited to enter the zine machine process and create their own pieces of zine art that will be integrated into the finished zines.

Limited copies of the unique zines will be handed out to Nuit Blanche guests. The zines will also be uploaded online and downloadable throughout the night.
