Hi there! Stacey Case here from the good ol' Trash Palace!

If you did not know already, not only do I collect feature films to screen at my movie theatre, I DIRECTED ONE TOO!

I generally describe my debut feature Enter Zombie King (2003) as "Mexican wrestlers VS zombies with gratuitous gore and mild nudity, with a garage rock soundtrack containing 15 of my old band The Tijuana Bibles songs."

I was hired by an asshole producer named Bill Marks to direct the film. I got used up and spit out, and was not allowed in the edit suite for my promised six week director's cut.

I have waited FIVE YEARS for this night. It will be my pleasure to regale you with stories from the making of my film, which, in spite of the asshole producer and how I was treated in the aftermath, did quite well:

- Official Selection at Fantasia 2003
- won Best Foreign Screenplay at the Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre 2005 film festival
- Official Selection at Fantasporto 2005 (Portugal)
- sold to 19 markets worldwide
- still airs on Showcase in Canada occasionally

So, it's not all bad!
