BLACK WALLS (http://blackwalls.bandcamp.com)
After years of work Black Walls celebrates the release of his new LP Acedia on Pleasence Records. Ken Reaume's haunting psych-folk compositions float around you like smoke from a fire. Comforting warmth with the occasional biting spark. Technical flourishes grown out of rhythmic repetition. Gentle ominous chords and lulling hand slides over guitar strings, nurture the growing organic compositions.

SANDRO PERRI (http://www.sandroperri.com)
One of Toronto's most interesting & inspiring composers, Sandro Perri kicks off a mini north east tour with us at Feast In The East. His pop songs are layered deep in textures and full of meanderings. Synth hums and bubbles float above carefully placed percussion like some slowed down jungle dance party. Guitar notes dissipate into hums & lost flourishes. Sandro's voice moves over the instrumentation, almost caressing it like a sheet. His music creates it's own environment, it's own weather conditions, with seamless movement, sounds & textures flow into each. Don't miss this prodigy of the avant smooth.

DUSTED (http://totallydusted.com)
Brian Borcherdt (Holy Fuck) and Leon Taheny (Rituals, Germans) create fuzzed out bedroom pop, acoustic guitar notes cradled in distortion as if they were from a baritone, cries of feedback & drum machines deep in the outer reaches, hidden beneath cooing vocals that glow with a warm hum. Mystical swirling soundscapes of buzzing synthesizers & amp rumbles create a lost world inhabited by Dusted.

TRADITION (http://tradition.bandcamp.com/)
Peterburough transplant James Klassen returns to Toronto with some new songs & new ideas. His quiet spacious folk songs speak in a naive sincerity. Gently strummed guitar over longs droning hums, James' voice whispers & floats on top of it all effortlessly, accenting the warmth he produces with his guitar. You can feel his sincerity drifting out of his notes, a shining example of less is more, Tradition's music is a real gem to be discovered.
